School of Advanced Studies

The Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) is an international PhD school and a center for research and higher education in the areas of Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Social Sciences.

As a project supported by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the GSSI has been instituted as a new Italian graduate school of advanced studies in 2016, after a three-years succesful experimental period.
Located in central Italy, the school welcomes professors, researchers and students selected internationally following the best graduate schools standards worldwide. The PhD program is organized in the scientific areas of Astroparticle Physics, Mathematics, Computer science, Regional Sciences and Economic Geography. Every year we offer Post doctoral grants and research opportunities thus facilitating the attraction of high-level resources in the fields of natural and social sciences.

The Committee has to remain a high, impartial and scientific centre of bioethical culture, sensitive antenna, to the signals of society (national and internationale) but also an indipendent moment of multidisciplinary and organic reflection.

Certainly not an exclusive area of reflection of the Country, but open to broader partnership with all those expertise and experiences which can positively contribute to the flourishing of the bioethical culture.

Fondazione promossa ed istituita da Coldiretti

La Fondazione “Osservatorio sulla criminalità nell’agricoltura e sul sistema agroalimentare” promossa ed istituita da Coldiretti nel febbraio 2014, opera secondo le seguenti direttrici:

• cultura della legalità
• tutela del Made in italy agroalimentare e difesa della sua reputazione
• trasparenza informativa al cittadino
• studio e monitoraggio delle penetrazioni della criminalità organizzata nel mercato agroalimentare, nonché dei fenomeni distorsivi della concorrenza lungo la filiera agroalimentare, con particolare riferimento alla contraffazione, adulterazione, imitazione del Made in Italy

A tracciare le linee strategiche è il Comitato Scientifico, punto di incontro e confronto tra mondi istituzionali e privati, presieduto da Gian Carlo Caselli.
